Description
Corpus Queerness (tentative title) is an independent study in performance exploring memory and the queer male body, gay sex and sexuality, and guilt and Christianity through the medium of solo-performance art. This piece draws content from the repertoire of personal experiences and cites performance artists like Tim Miller, and works such as Derek Jarman's film, Sebastiane as influences. The purpose of Corpus Queerness is to use performance-based research as a method for exploring the intersection and intertwining of sexuality and faith. This presentation will serve as a res-erection/resurrection of the piece and the performance research process. -Not an Honors Thesis.
