Description
This project analyzes the development of the city of Miami over the past half-century. The goal is to show that the rapid expansion of Miami was due to large masses of immigrants from Latin American countries. This can be done by analyzing real-estate, one of the most successful businesses in Miami, and how prices have changed. Not only is real-estate a good way of explaining the quickly changing Miami but so is analyzing other legal actions that aid immigrants in living a peaceful American life. This research highlights government actions as well as local living prices that made the development of Miami possible.
