Description
Vast research has been done on the effect of music on mood and emotion, and subsequent moral judgment and decision-making as a result of those induced emotions and moods. Little research, however, has shown the impacts of subconscious music on moral judgment, especially when there is an obstacle present in the moral judgment situation and when the relevance of place is manipulated. This study seeks to determine if subconscious, happy music has an impact on one's judgment of a moral situation and how much they would be willing to help someone. It also seeks to determine if there is a difference in moral judgment when the place given in a moral vignette is relatable versus when it is not.
