Description
We start by implementing five 2D graphics primitives, and use them to represent 3D objects on 2D screen space. Using a hierarchical model, we are able to manipulate specific objects in the scene without compromising the rest of objects in the scene. Shading and lighting components are then added to show the distance between objects and light sources. Finally, we move on from our own 3D rendering engine to creating both photorealistic images like a flame particle system and non-photorealistic images like ascii art.
