Description
Film and theater, as two inherently similar yet importantly different art forms, have shared a tumultuous relationship of simultaneous competition and symbiosis over the course of the past 125 years. This research looks into the current status of that relationship and discusses films status as successor, rival and revivifier of realist theater.
