Description
Black and white (B&W) digital image. Foreground includes post-apocalyptic imagery of what appears to be gas-engined-grocery-store-shopping-carts that contain grenades, oil/tar, and other biohazards/hormones/chemicals, that have contaminated the food inside the carts. The background is a juxtaposition of fertile corn fields being naturally pollenated by bees and moths. Along with other text, "Say NO to Genetically Engineered Food" is prominently displayed within the imagery.
This poster is part of the Beehive Design Collective's first graphic campaign. Designed in spring of 2007 as a promotional poster for the annual BioDevastation Conference. The event was a gathering of the grassroots resistance to the Biotech Industry Organization's (BIO) annual convention.
