Abstract
"Behind the Missing Rib: The Five Stages of Grief" is a poetry manuscript that explores issues of love, forgiveness, and understanding. The book is divided into the five stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. Each poem is titled using a quote from a biblical verse, and deals with the process of healing.
