Hospitals and ambulance services are important to the infrastructure of Maine.

Source Data Note

The census data is from the 2010 Census by the US Bureau of Census. The ambulance data from 1/7/2013 and Hospital data from 1/14/2013 are from the Maine Office of GIS. The census measures population by number of people per census block. Darker colors on the map represent a more densely populated census block.The coordinate system used is NAD 1983 UTM Zone 19N.
