Abstract or Description
This map compares the amount and distribution of renewable and non-renewable power plants in Maine. To give a better sense of the location of each plant, it also displays the state’s highways, hydrology, and major cities.
Source Data Note
Data for this map was gathered from the Maine Office of GIS as well as the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The map is projected using the NAD83, Universal Transverse Mercator Zone 19 coordinate system.
