Abstract or Description

This map shows various glacial moraines and eskers found throughout the state of Maine.

Source Data Note

Surficial geology of the state was obtained from a data set mapped out by the Maine Geological Survey in 1987. Groups of identified moraine and esker features were isolated from the other various features identified in the surficial geology layer. All layers and data were taken from the Maine Office of GIS.
