This map indicates the landcover of Maine and distribution of primary nesting sites for four birds found in Maine: the Piping Plover, Least Tern, Roseate Tern, and Bald Eagle.

Source Data Note

The landcover layer was obtained in raster format from the USGS site. The bird nesting sites were all obtained from the Maine Office of GIS.
