A map showing the nest site locations of three endangered species of shore bird in the state of Maine as they relate to human presence and conservation efforts. Least terns, roseate terns, and piping plovers are highly effected by human presence in their nesting areas. This map indicates where roads and boat launches bring people into the fragile nesting and brooding sites of these birds.
