Abstract or Description

Automobile accidents due to moose-automobile interactions between 1992 and 2004.

Source Data Note

Maine Office of GIS, the Maine Department of Transportation and the USGS. The cities layer came from the Maine Office of GIS, and depicts some of the major towns and cities in Maine. The moose-automobile interactions layer was obtained from the Maine Department of Transportation, and shows the location of all of the automobile accidents accountable to moose between 1992 and 2004. The Maine counties layer was taken from the Maine Office of GIS and shows the outlines of the counties in Maine. The landcover layer was taken from the USGS site, and shows a raster version of the landcover in Maine.
