Abstract
My paper considers my painting in relationship to the totality of my living. It discusses specific visual aspects important to my painting -- the space, colour, brushstroke and imagery I use. It comments upon qualities of interaction and contrast in painting and sculpture. My paper brings forth questions I have about the lifestyle of an artist, particularly the tensions of relating people and working situations. My paper reflects the thinking I have doing this year, as a direct result of my experiences in painting and sculpture.
