Abstract
This paper is an analysis of male friendship in hip hop and Shakespeare music. It looks at several of Shakespeare's plays such as Othello, Antony and Cleopatra, Troilus and Cressida, All's Well That Ends Well, and Titus Andronicus. It also looks at several rappers such as Dr. Dre, Drake, Biggie Smalls, Wiz Khalifa, and Snoop Dogg.
