Description

India has the second largest population in the world, and yet has received less than 10 Olympic gold medals since its inception. How can a nation, with such a large population, not produce athletic excellence at the international level? In this paper, I will analyze Bollywood films to define and better understand the barriers Indian culture builds to prevent its aspiring athletes form becoming victorious.
