Description

The effects that wood smoke has on humans are great and include respiratory problems, asthma, and cardiovascular problems, among others. The EPA offers many suggestions for reducing wood smoke exposure. Maine has recently proposed regulations on residential wood heaters that would enact more stringent standards on new wood burning heaters.
