Abstract or Description

This map shows the heat conductivity of the bedrock of Maine. While there are many factors that determine geothermal potential, the conductivity of the underlying rock is one important factor. Using this information will help in determining future potential sites for use of the geothermal energy.

About the Author

Drew is from Darien Connecticut and is a geology major and environmental science minor at Colby College.
