Abstract or Description

This map shows land use in the Belgrade Lakes Region, classified in different color schemes. Roads are illustrated as dark gray solid lines. Elevation and hillshade are also shown in this map. Town boundaries and names are included for reference. Population density is presented as colored points within census blocks.

About the Author

Born and raised in China, Yiyuan is an Environmental Studies and Economics major and Music minor. Her academic interests and concern come from China's rising economic power and the associated environmental implications. She is currently assisting Professor Philip Nyhus on south China tiger conservation.
