Abstract or Description

The Belgrade Lakes region in central Maine has a diverse array of water resources including lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams. This map shows bathymetry data for the lakes and ponds in the Belgrade Lakes region. In addition, the map displays elevation data for the Belgrade region terrain.

About the Author

Annie is a junior environmental studies major with a concentration in marine science. Annie is from Western Massachusetts and she hopes to study marine ecology after Colby.

Elevation Data was collected from Maine Office of GIS.

Bathymetry Data was collected from Whitney King, Colby College Chemistry Department and Maine PEARL.
