Summary
The Bill & Joan Alfond Main Street Commons, the downtown mixed-use residential complex, opened this fall, giving more than 200 Colby students, as well as faculty and staff, a home base on Main Street. More than 350 people from across the community attended the ribbon cutting of what President David A. Greene said he hopes will be “another catalyst for extraordinary development … in Waterville.”
