Abstract or Description

This map presents data on conserved land with allowed public access and displays both state highways and the interstate within the state of Maine. The largest 58 conserved areas are labeled on the atlas throughout the state. The acronym WMA, stands for Wildlife Management Area. We used the NAD 1983 UTM Zone 19N datum and coordinate system and a Transverse Mercator projection to produce this map. Data we obtained came from the Maine Office of GIS.
