Abstract or Description

This map, entitled “Appalachian Trail and Conservation Lands in Maine,” illustrates the route of the Appalachian Trail as it winds its ways through the state’s mountainous spine. It also shows trailside shelters, conserved lands, and major bodies of water. Conservation parcels within 10 miles of the trail are colored a darker shade of green than other parcels. The map was created March 14, 2018 by Soren Denlinger using NAD 1983 UTM Zone 19N.
