Abstract

In this paper, the presence of protease digesting chicken egg albumen was demonstrated throughout the intestine of s. droehbachiensis. The presence of sulfatase, an enzyme removing sulfate groups from a poly-saccharide, was demonstrated in the inferior spiral of the intestine of s. droehbachiensis. The presence of amylase was demonstrated in both the intestinal siphon and in the inferior spiral of the intestine of s. droehbachiensis. The presence of sucrase was demonstrated in the intestinal siphon of s. droehbachiensis.
