This is an Oxford style debate in which the audience will vote to determine the winning team. The format is as follows: 1. The debate starts with a preliminary vote of the audience: in favor, opposed, or undecided. 2. Each team then makes an opening statement. 3. Followed by supporting evidence from each position. 4. Followed by rebuttals from each side. 5. Finishing with concluding statements. 6. Then we tally a final vote from the audience and the team that sways the most opinion to their side wins.
