Presentation- Restricted to Campus Access

Description

Technological advancements in recent years have radically changed the study of phylogenetics by making DNA sequencing and sequence analysis available to a much larger amount of researchers, but the evolutionary relationships within many genera have yet to be studied on a molecular level. This research project involved the extraction, sequencing and analysis of several loci in the Oncopeltus genus to allow for the creation of a more accurate phylogenetic tree.
