Abstract or Description

The Woodlot Ownership map was created using data from the Maine Office of GIS and analyzed using ArcGIS 9. The data show where woodlots are located and the category of ownership as well as the density of forest cover across the state.

Data on woodlot ownership was obtained from the Maine Office of GIS and overlayed onto a hillshade layer and a water layer from the same source
